Order todayEstablished in 1985, Anstee Firewood has been fuelling the hearts of homes for nearly 40 years. The majority of our customers come back to us year after year because they trust the quality of our logs and our reliable delivery service.
We process our logs using our state-of-the-art firewood processor, which ensures consistency in size as well as the ability to keep pace with high demand.
We choose to only offer top quality hardwood logs from native trees including beech, ash, sliver birch, oak and sycamore. Hardwood logs offer better value for money because they are denser and therefore produce more energy and give off more heat than softwood logs. Hardwood logs will also give you the same heat using fewer logs and burn for longer, so overall you’ll save money.
We guarantee our wood comes from sustainable (Forestry Commission approved), local, legal and uncontaminated sources. By using the likes of slab wood from sawmills and residual wood from our tree work, we give waste wood an efficient and productive use.
Our logs and biofuel wood chip supplies are also free from contamination, such as mineral chainsaw lubricants, stones, nails and paint.
All our firewood logs are thoroughly seasoned hardwood with a moisture content below 25%. This means they are ready to burn and will do so efficiently and effectively.
The average size of our logs is 9x4”. This makes our logs ideal for open fires, wood burners, multi-burners and chimineas.

Our firewood delivery service runs on weekdays after 5pm and from 8am-5pm on Saturday.
When you place your order, please indicate your preferred days and we will contact you to arrange a convenient slot. Demand over the winter months is high so we recommend placing your order early and providing us with as much notice as possible.
There is a minimum delivery charge of £5 within a 5 mile radius of CF35 5DL, or £1.50 per mile for a one-way trip from CF35 5DL for those outside the 5 mile radius. This is automatically calculated at checkout based on your postcode, or you can call us on 01656 646257 or email admin@ansteetreefelling.co.uk for a price.
We deliver to most locations across Bridgend and the Vale of Glamorgan.
